New London, NH-Pauline Reed (Chase) Roos, 97, died Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Woodcrest Village. She was born in Sharon, MA on May 13, 1925 to Frank and Jeannette (Holden) Chase. Life in their small town was a happy one with sisters, Jeanne and Virginia and brother, Dick, and going to school with the love of her life, Bill Roos! After attending the University of MA, she was a draftsman at M.I.T. Radiation Laboratory and married Bill in 1946. With sons, Peter and David, they moved to New London, NH in 1961. Pauline enjoyed painting, quilting, braiding rugs and especially gardening. She was an active member of The First Baptist Church of New London, the New London Garden Club, the New London Historical Society and a volunteer at the New London Hospital for many years. She is predeceased by husband, Bill; young son, David; sisters, Virginia Earle and Jeanne Knapton and brother, Dick Chase. Pauline is survived by son, Peter and his wife, Sue Roos; grandsons, Christopher (Lisa Leclair) and Peter (Kerri); great grandchildren, Ella Claire and Joshua David; cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at The First Baptist Church, 461 Main Street, New London, NH and burial will be in West Part Cemetery, New London.
